To maintain and improve the legal standards of India, a consensus has been reached between the Supreme Court of India, Ministry of Law and Bar Council of India (BCI) to conduct a bar examination for fresh law graduates. Only the successful candidates would be allowed to practice in Indian courts.

To further this objective, the Directorate of Legal Education (DLE) set up by the BCI has initiated steps to conduct a qualifying bar examination in August-September 2010. DLE has also framed appropriate rules for the smooth conduction of the exam.

To facilitate effective and successful clearance of this exam and all law related and judicial exams, Perry4Law Techno-Legal Base (PTLB) has started an initiative in this regard. The same is titled as “Bar Examinations In India” and its first batch of online bar examination coaching and training would start in the month of July/August 2010.

The seats for the same are limited and it would be beneficial if an early seat is taken.

its a very good step but conduct of fair examination is in question. This aspect has to be dealt with very carefully. Apart from this step age limit for the enrollment as Advocate/ qualifying examination has also to be fixed so that only serious candidate and new commer could get the better opportunity which will result in improvement in the quality of legal system.
