12 injured in bomb explosion in Jamui

Jamui: Altogether 12 people were injured, six of them critically, when a bomb exploded in a bus near Lakshmipur Bazar under Lakshmipur Police Station in the district today.

Superintendent of Police Rakesh Rathi said a powerful explosion was triggered through remote control device in the crowded bus near Lakshmipur Bazar.

Altogether twelve people were injured, of which the condition of six was stated to be critical, Mr Rathi added.

The injured had been admitted to a local hospital, Mr Rathi said adding raids were on to nab the culprits.
