ATP rankings: Big gains for Somdev and Bopanna

New Delhi: Riding on his quarterfinal appearance in the ATP South Africa Open India’s no.1 tennis player Somdev Devvarman jumped 21 places to 141 in the latest ranking released by the ATP on Monday.

Meanwhile Rohan Bopanna who recently won his second ATP World Tour doubles title in South Africa with Aisem Qureshi jumped 19 spots to reach number 69 in the latest doubles ranking.

Prakash Amritraj lost 22 places to be at 222 while Yuki Bhambri remain static at 325.

Leander Paes at 7 and Mahesh Bhupathi at 8 remain unchainged in their ATP Doubles ranking.

Sania Mirza, who recently help India back to the elite group of Fed Cup Asia/Oceania Zone, remain unchanged in both her singles and doubles ranking remaining at 59 and 33 respectively.
