Centre overlooks Karnataka’s demand in budget, says Yeddyurappa
Bangalore: Looking very upset with the Union budget, Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa has described it disappointing as the centre has overlooked the state priorities. The state government has made request for the farm loan waiver in flood-hit areas and the assistance for Bangalore infrastructure development, which was completely snubbed in the union budget.
Yeddyurappa blamed the government that the 2010-11 budget has nothing to offer instead it will add more burden on the middle income class people.
He stated that the state has requested for a waiver of farm loans in floods hit area last year, Rs 8500 crore for infrastructure development in Bangalore but the central government has not taken it seriously and ward off the demand.
