Despite assurance of Mumbai police, Shiv Sena attacks cinemas

Mumbai: It is all now on the roads, as what Shiv Sena threatened over past few days, have finally come out in protest and attacked at the multiplexes and 63 cinema halls where the movie has to be screened on the 12th February.

 

Early morning the producer of the movie ‘My Name is Khan’ Karan Johar met the Mumbai police Commissioner D Shivanandan, who conferred him assurance that the police will provide full protection to the cinema halls but later an hour the Shiv Sainiks ransacked the cinema halls by tore  the film posters in some part of the city.

 

The Shiv Sainiks have gone on rampage in Ghatkopar at ‘Shreya’ cinema ,Mulund at ‘Mehul ‘cinema and at Kanjurmarg . Around 36 shiv saink have been arrested in this connection who were demanding sorry from Shah Rukh Khan.
