Kanpur:Team India skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni has cleared the fitness test and will take the field for the second Test starting tomorrow against Sri Lanka at the Green Park Stadium in  Kanpur.

Dhoni injured his finger during the drawn first Test in Ahmedabad and the BCCI had rushed in Tamil Nadu skipper Dinesh Karthick as a cover for the injured Dhoni.

Dinesh Karthick will now rejoin Tamil Nadu squad for their Ranji Trophy match against Himachal Pradesh in Dharamshala starting tomorrow.

Meanwhile Hyderabad off-spinner Pargyan Ojha could make his Test debut and may just get the nod ahead of Amit Mishra for the Kanpur Test after both the Indian spinners struggle in Ahmedabad.
