Entire country reeling under price hike: BJP

Bhopal: BJP State unit President Narendra Singh Tomar has said that the entire country is reeling under the weight of price rise.

''Price hike problem has been taking place on account of the erroneous policies of the Centre. Besides food, there has been an unprecedented hike in the prices of items of daily use,'' Mr Tomar said in a statement here yesterday.

He said Prime Minister Manmohan Singh had already indicated that there would be further rise in prices of essential commodities.

The Prime Minister's statement would only encourage hoarding and the price of various commodities would go up further instead of coming down, he added.
