Ghulam Hassan Kaloo re-elected president Of Kashmir Press Association

Srinagar: Mr. Ghulam Hassan Kaloo, the pioneer of English print media in Kashmir, the Editor-in-Chief of English daily The Mirror of Kashmir, was re-elected the president of a Kashmir Press association for one more year.

Kashmir Press Association is, the single largest body representing the Journalist of Kashmir Valley press body here today. In his speech Mr.Kaloo gave an outlook on the performance of Kashmir Press Association. The body, Kashmir Press, comprises of more than 55 members who are editors of different English and Urdu newspapers from here.
 
Pertinent to mention that the said association has proven very effective in championing the cause of the journalists and newspapers of Valley. It has also solved several glaring problems faced by print media in Kashmir. Asian Mail Editor Abdul Rashid Rahil was also elected the general Secretary of the Kashmir Press Association.
