Goa: NCB to interrogate Israeli drug dealer

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) will quiz Israeli national David Griham alias Dudu, arrested in Goa  for allegedly dealing in drugs.

Superintendent of Police, Anti-Narcotic Cell (ANC) Veenu Bansal told reporters on Tuesday that they had received request from NCB to allow them to interrogate David.

"We will finish our interrogation first and will later hand him over to NCB. At the moment, we want him," Bansal said, adding that they will share all the information disclosed by David during the interrogation to NCB, an apex agency working
towards curbing narcotic trade in the country.

Apparently, NCB's latest list figuring David as the prominent drug seller was handed over to Goa police late last year.

The state police, investigating David's trade in the state, has interrogated the accused's sister and Kazakhstan national girlfriend.

The girlfriend, who went missing after David's arrest, this week, appeared before police to depose.

Bansal said that prima facie, there seems to be no involvement of the two women in the trade run by David.

The sustained custodial interrogation has earned the ANC some vital information about David's link to high profile people in the state.

However, Bansal refused that David had named some politicians.

"We are verifying all the details provided by him. We are also checking his mobile call details," the SP said.
