New Delhi: Though Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) has called for a nationwide boycott of Shahrukh Khan’s upcoming film ‘My Name Is Khan’, but it doesn’t affect Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan as he dared the VHP to stop its screening, saying he will watch the movie with his family.
Chavan is going according to his statement of giving full protection on ‘My Name Is Khan’ release in the state.
“Nobody would be allowed to disrupt the release of superstar Shah Rukh Khan's "My Name Is Khan", said Chavan, when Shiv Sena threatened to disrupt the release of the film.
Now, when Shiv Sena has decided not to oppose the film, VHP has come in front to take unnecessary issue ahead.
"Nobody can take the law into their hands. We will take action if somebody is issuing such threats. The law will take its course, let them say whatever they want," Chavan told reporters.
"I will also go to see the movie along with my family members," he said.
Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol starrer "My Name Is Khan" is set for release this Friday.
It’s the right move by Chavan and we all should support the right things. If you wish to watch the movie, just go and watch it.
