Karnataka CET counseling begins

Karnataka CET counseling begins

Bangalore: Counselling of students who have passed the Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by the Karnataka Government for admissions to professional degree courses, began here with special category students attending on the opening day today.

Karnataka offers huge number of Engineering seats

Admissions for Medical, Dental and Engineering Courses would be announced following the counseling. Seats would be allotted on basis of ranking in nearly 200 government and aided institutions across the State.

This year, 5,783 candidates have qualified for admission to Medical and Dental courses, 44,468 for Indian System of Medicine and Homeopathy Courses, 71,639 for Engineering and 673 for Architecture Courses, Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) Spokesperson DS Narasimha Murthy said.

This would be followed by counselling for Medical and Dental Courses starting June 10.
