Cha-Am Hua Hin: Admitting that there are problems in some projects relating to Commonwealth Games, Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today expressed confidence that the games extravaganza will be a "spectacular show" due to new mechanisms put in place by the government.

"I am sure whatever mechanism we have put in place now will ensure that the games are conducted in a proper manner.

In a spectacular way. Spectators are going to see spectacular games," Singh told reporters here.

He, however, admitted that there were some problems with some projects.

The Prime Minister also parried a question on demands in Congress that Rahul Gandhi be given the responsibility of Commonwealth Games like his father Rajiv Gandhi was given charge of Asiad games.

Commonwealth Games will be held in New Delhi from October 3-14 next year.
