Mark Boucher taken to hospital following back spasms

Nagpur: South Africa wicket-keeper Mark Boucher has been sent to hospital on the third afternoon after he suffered back spasms during the ongoing first Test against India here today.

The South African management said the seriousness of the injury will only be known after the results of the tests conducted on the wicketkeeper-batsman are out.

Meanwhile, in the absence of regular wicket-keeper Boucher, AB de Villiers was keeping wickets.
