Nagpur: Despite Sachin Tendulkar’s fighting 100, India has lost its first Test Match of three match series by six runs and an innings against South Africa at Nagpur.

Stormed by Dale Steyn in the first innings, Indian team couldn’t manage to stay on pitch and bowled out for just 319 runs in the second innings.

Initially, after winning the toss, South Africa captain Graeme Smith decided to bat first and the guests scored 558/6 dec with the help of Kallis (173) and Hashim Amla (253).

In the reply, Indian team bowled out for just 233 in the first innings as South African pacer Dale Steyn was too good for Indian team with 7 wickets haul.

Already on the back foot, team India couldn’t even save the follow-on.  And the same thing happened in the second innings which handed India a Test match loss.

If India lose this series, will be removed from the top spot of ICC's Test rankings.

Hashim Amla declared Man-of-the-Match for his unbeaten 253.
