New Delhi: Taking into account the ongoing bilateral Free Trade Agreement negotiations between India and New Zealand, and looking at the potential trade and investment opportunities between the two countries, there could not have been a more opportune time to hold the New Zealand Invest 2010 in India than now. The first ever series of Investment Seminars from New Zealand have been organized by NZ Financial Solutions Ltd. and Catalyst2  and will be held in New Delhi on the 23rd and 24th of Jan, 2010 at Hotel Ashok.  Later these seminars will also take place in Chandigarh and Ludhiana.

A Press Conference was held at the Constitution Club on the 20th of Jan, 2010, as the curtain raiser for the main event. Sanjeev Toora, Director, NZ Financial Solutions Ltd., was accompanied by Tanya Kwasza of Catalyst2 and Bradley So, Solicitor and Immigration specialist from Queen City Law – New Zealand’s Boutique Law Firm, who spoke with the media and answered questions put to them.

Sanjeev Toora and Tanya Kwasza have organized the event with the support of NZ Trade & Enterprises. The event will be inaugurated by Sir Richard Hadlee, NZ cricket legend who is going to be here especially to promote New Zealand as a lifestyle destination. Mr. Cliff Fuller, Trade Commissioner for India from New Zealand, will be speaking about what New Zealand has to offer and what can be the trade opportunities between Indian and New Zealand. Bradley So, Solicitor and Immigration Specialist, Steven Molnar, a leading property investor and educator will teach others how to achieve greater financial security using advanced residential property investment strategies.

Besides promoting Auckland as the 4th best city in the world to live in (according to a worldwide Quality of Living survey by consultancy firm Mercer) and New Zealand as the least corrupt country in the world (drawn up by the anti-graft watchdog Transparency International), New Zealand for the first time will be promoted as a land of abundant business opportunities. From New Zealand Invest 2010, investors and entrepreneurs will receive the golden opportunity to learn about the possibilities of tying up for projects in Pine Wood Shipping, Meat processing, Food processing technology, Dairy Farming, Fruit Packing technology.

The two-day seminar will be inaugurated on 23rd Jan morning and will include a number of workshops during the entire day on immigration, investments in real estate, sports and the lifestyle opportunities available in New Zealand.
