Unidentified man attacks Rathore with knife

Chandigarh: An unidentified man attacked former Haryana director general of police S P S Rathore, who has been accused in the Ruchika Girhotra molestation case, outside the Punjab and Haryana high court on Monday.

The attacker had allegedly stabbed Rathore with a knife on his face as the former police officer was stepping out of his car to enter the court.

The court was to hear the bail plea of Rathore against the six-months sentence and conviction in the molestation case.
