New Delhi: Manufacturers of India’s smallest car, Nano, Tata Motors will reopen their bookings for the small car wonder in December. According to sources the autocar giants have already received 100,000 bookings for the first phase.

The car has only one manufacturing unit in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand and with increase demand the Sanand plant unit in Gujarat is likely to be put under operation as well.

"We will open bookings when we come closer to completion of delivery. However, we will have some surprises this time," said Prakash Telang, MD of Tata Motors.

Tata Motors though might sell the car a bit costlier due to increase rise in prices for the raw materials used in the manufacturing of the cars.
