New Delhi: Naresh Goyal, the chairman of Jet Airways, got a rude shock when his dear friend and Shah Rukh Khan decided to quit from the board of troublesome airline. Shah Rukh Khan has reputedly told Goyal that due to his other commitments; he can not give any time for Jet Airways. Hence he is quitting it.

It may be recalled that Goyal has inducted SRK, noted film producer Yash Chopra and Javad Akhtar in the board of his Airlines around two years ago. However, due to other commitments SRK could not attend even one board meeting of Jet board. While, Chopra and Javed attend meetings.

Sources say that SRK has quit Goyal’s company purely on personnel matters, it has nothing to do with the crisis in the company. Sources close to him say SRK is really very busy these day with his production house and in the Kolkata Knight Riders. Meanwhile, Jet Airlines was in the news in the recent past due to all the wrong reasons like removing more than one thousand staffers and then taking back after political pressure.
