In a shocking incident, a 50-year-old shopkeeper was raped by four youths who robbed him of his money before fleeing in the Budh Vihar area of North-West Delhi.
The shopkeeper, Nain Singh, was returning home at around 10.30 pm when the youths caught him and snatched Rs 2,000 from him which he was carrying.
When the man began to object, two of them sodomised him on the deserted road. The other two then had oral sex with him.
They also beat up the man and left him lying hurt and bleeding on the road.

The victims informed the police, after which he was taken to the Sanjay Gandhi hospital. "They were not homosexuals. These four criminals were only having fun with him.
When the man refused to part away from the money the four did the shameful act on him. It is still not clear why they indulged in that act. We spoke to the victim and he denied any enmity with the four arrested," said a police official.
The four identified as Pawan, Shiv Kumar, Sunny and Ravi were arrested from Budh Vihar on Saturday after Nain Singh identified them. They lived in the same area where Singh resided. The police said that the four youths are all aged between 19-20 years and work in private sectors doing some menial jobs.
A case under section 394(voluntarily causing hurt in committing robbery), 377(unnatural offences), 506(criminal intimidation)/34(acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal code has been registered at the Sultanpuri police station.
