Bangalore: The Orkut profiles of Infosys techie Amit Budhiraja (30) and his wife Rinku (28), a marketing executive with a leading private bank, have been flooded with scraps. In less than a day since Amit allegedly killed his wife and then committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan, their profiles on the social networking site has got 60 scraps.

Amit suspected his wife of having an extramarital affair with her colleague and smothered her with a pillow.

What scraps say

Amit’s friend Subu says in a testimonial: “The most intelligent bloke I have seen in my career. He was using network sniffers to peep into what was happening on others’ desktops. People used to be very careful of what they did on their PCs because they knew that there was a Peeping Tom monitoring all their actions!”

“How can one do this to their own wife... will the tradition of husbands spying on their wife ever end? In spite of being so educated… Who achieved what from all this...”

Rinku’s profile says she loved interacting with people and that’s why she chose the marketing job. Strangely enough, while Rinku had uploaded pictures of them together (anniversary, engagement and parties), Amit had pictures of only himself.
