The festival of Vijayadashami was celebrated in Bhopal on Tuesday. Effigies of Ravana, Meghnad and Kumbhakarna were burnt at more than 30 places in the capital. In Kolar, along with the 105 feet tall effigy of Ravana, 45-45 feet tall effigies of Meghnad and Kumbhakarna were burnt. During this, there were huge fireworks also. Before this, attractive renditions of patriotic songs and hymns were also given. Similarly, Ravana Dahan program also took place in Bittan Market.
Ravana Dahan program started at 7 o’clock under the aegis of Kolar Hindu Utsav Committee and . On this occasion, MLA Rameshwar Sharma, Mayor Malti Rai addressed the people and appreciated the event.
The audience enjoyed the bhajan, dance and mimicry
Artists presented dance, bhajan and mimicry in the program organized in Kolar. When bhajans were being presented, people encouraged them by lighting mobile torches. Not only this, Neerja Tiwari, who had performed in Sony TV’s Dance India Dance program, gave a brilliant performance. After this the theater organization doubled the excitement of the audience. Actor Kiku Sharda arrived in the getup of ‘Bachcha Yadav’ in the program which lasted for about 3 and a half hours. He tickled people a lot. Kolar Hindu Utsav Committee President Mahesh Meena and committee officials were present on the stage. Operation was done by Secretary Ravindra Yeti.
Organized in Kolar for 20 years
Ravana Dahan program is organized every year by the Kolar Hindu Utsav Committee. Committee Secretary Yeti said that the organization has been organizing this event for 20 years. This time the effigies of Meghnad and Kumbhakarna along with 105 feet Ravana have been burnt. During this, Chandrayaan was also demonstrated.
45th Dussehra festival celebrated in Bitton Market
Bitton Market Dussehra Mahotsav was organized by Arera (Rajdhani) Utsav Committee and This was the 45th event. On this occasion, Dainik Bhaskar’s Deputy Managing Director Pawan Aggarwal, Mahotsav President Rajesh Vyas, General Secretary Sanjay Somani, Chairman Organizing Committee Chandrabhushan Badal, Chief Spokesperson Rajesh Khare and a large number of officials were present on the stage. Along with burning the effigy of Ravana, attractive fireworks were also done here. The event continued for about three hours.

Society Secretary Rohit Yadav said, Hamas has started a new war by attacking Israel. We strongly condemn this attack. We too have been facing terrorism from the neighboring country for a long time. At present there is an atmosphere against terrorism all over the world. In this time of crisis, we are united against the killing of innocent people. To demonstrate this, we burnt Ravana in the form of Hamas, the symbol of terrorism, in our campus.
