Minister for Panchayat and Health T.S. Singhdeo claimed that false propaganda by the BJP on ration shops and power curtailment misled people in the recently concluded general elections and hampered the poll prospects of the Congress.

Singhdeo was talking to media persons here at Raipur helipad before proceeding for Surguja to attend Surguja Development Authority meeting on Monday morning.

He further informed that new allotment of ration shops under PDS system would be made after cancelling the old ones.

Regarding specific charges of BJP spokesperson Shrichand Sundarani about power cut in his residence, Singhdeo said in the subsequent investigation it was found that the charges were baseless.

Nevertheless, the Power Company had been instructed to do review and take necessary action, he added.

Singhdeo also came down heavily on Prime Minister Narendra Modi on his alleged failure to keep the promise of employment generation in the country and mocked his Mudra Loan scheme.

He further assured that the problem of unemployment would however be checked in the state.
