Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday claimed that Narendra Modi-led union government has nothing to showcase as its achievements of five-year tenure and that’s was why the ruling BJP roped in so many cine stars as Lok Sabha candidates in the ongoing general elections.
Baghel was addressing a press conference in Bhopal during his hectic electioneering tour in neighbouring Madhya Pradesh.
Speaking to media persons, he said as the BJP government at the Centre has no achievements, the party is trying to misguide the people. Senior leaders of the BJP have been sidelined and cine stars have become the face of it, he said.
Later the chief minister campaigned at Sironj of Sagar Lok Sabha constituency for Congress candidate Prabhu Singh Thakur.
There he claimed that his party talks of Nyuntam Aay Yojana (NYAY) through which they will attempt to alleviate poverty of 5 crore poor people of the country.
