BJP to sharpen attacks on farmers’ issues

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday decided to step up protests in Chhattisgarh over issues related to farmers.

A meeting of the party’s executive here decided to focus on non-declaration of drought as well as black-marketing and shortage of fertilizers.

The party also deliberated to celebrate ‘Sewa Hi Samarpan’ programme to mark the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

BJP General Secretary Kailash Vijayvargiya and co-in charge of party affairs in the state Nitin Nabin attended the meeting.
