The Covid-19 positivity rate in Chhattisgarh has reached 2.6 percent. A total of 1,285 positive cases were found against the 49,509 samples tested on Tuesday. The Covid spread is slowly coming under control. The number of patients discharged was 3,119 and the present active cases in the state is 21,090, Harsha Puranik, Joint Director (PR), told the media. On Black Fungus, she said the total cases reported is 266. A total of of 133 patients had been operated, 16 discharged and 17 had died. The total active cases is 233. She said the government has issued new guidelines for those travelling abroad for studies, work or travel. Those who have taken the first dose of Covishield will be administered the second dose. The vaccination details will be stamped on their passport.
