Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel was tested Covid negative on Sunday, officials said. His wife Mukteshwari Baghel and others close to him also tested Covid negative.

Apart from the Chief Minister, samples of newly appointed Chairman of the State Civil Supplies Corporation Ramgopal Agrawal, Chairman Mineral Development Corporation Girish Dewangan, advisor to the Chief Minister Pradeep Sharma, OSDs and Baghel’s security officers were taken. They all tested negative, the officials added.

The Chief Minister has appealed to the residents of state to use mask, wash hands regularly and avoid going to crowed places to beat coronavirus.
