Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Friday felicitated the staff of Medical Mobile Unit (MMU) for providing free treatment to more than 5 lakh patients in the urban areas of the state in the last seven months.
The MMU is operational under the Mukhyamantri Urban Slum Health Scheme.
Baghel also launched the song ‘Hospital Wali Gaadi Hai’ and released a coffee table book ‘Panchalaksham’ based on the Chief Minister’s Slum Health Scheme at the event here, an official communication said. Baghel and Urban Development Minister Dr Shiv Dahariya felicitated Dr. Jayagiri Goswami of Bilaspur, pharmacist Indu Rai from Bhilai Unit, Laboratory Assistant Sheetal Das from Korba, Medical Assistant Louisa Anthony from Raipur and Rajnandgaon unit driver Lokesh Kumar Sahu.
The Chief Minister patted everyone associated with the scheme.
