Election Commission shifted a total of 289 polling booths in entire Bastar Lok Sabha constituency due to security reason .

Chief Electoral Officer Subrat Sahoo in a press conference said 111 polling booths were shifted in Bijapur, the highest among all the districts.

In Kondagaon district 16 polling booths were shifted. In Narayanpur 36, in Bastar 12, 59 in Dantewada and 55 booths in Sukma were shifted.

As per the slogan Sugam, Sugghar, Samaveshi Nirvachan – 2019 arrangements of wheel chairs, ramps etc were done in the polling booths, he said.
