Based on the feedback of the citizens, everything possible will be done to improve civic amenities in the Risali Municipal Corporation area, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on Tuesday.
An action plan will be prepared and work will start accordingly, he told a public gathering after public dedication of the new office of Risali Municipal Corporation near the Bhilai steel plant.
He also dedicated developmental works worth Rs 12.74 crores and did Bhoomi Pujan of works totaling Rs 1.59 crores. He distributed land titles under the Rajiv Gandhi Ashray Yojana and CM Abaadi Patta Yojana.
Risali’s upcoming projects will include a bigger hospital, a college and a community building, he said.
The Chief Minister directed the opening of a 30-bed hospital which he said would be expanded to 100 beds. An outdoor stadium will be built. He sanctioned Rs 50 lakh for renovation of the garden and ponds.
District in-charge Minister Mohammed Akbar said different schemes implemented under the Chief Minister’s leadership are bringing changes in economic status of citizens and the state’s economy.
Home Minister Tamradhwaj Sahu said it was the Chief Minister who approved the proposal and paved the path for formation of Risali Municipal Corporation.
