Former chairman of Chhattisgarh Haj committee and leader of State BJP Minority Morcha Dr Salim Raj announced a reward of Rs one crore for the person who will kill Jamaat-u-Dawa chief Hafiz Saeed.
Hafiz Saeed has been named as the world most dreadful terrorist who is wanted by India and Interpol. He is accused of mobilizing muslim youth for Jihad against India. US has declared bounty of 10 million dollars on his head.
Dr Salim Raj wrote on Facebook, “He will give Rs 1 crore to the person who kill traitor Hafiz Saaed for which if he needs to sell out his property he won’t hesitate or he may borrow donations from Muslims across the world for the cause”.
Initially, 70 people commented on his post and later the post went viral on social media and flooded with comments. To reflect his commitment he also posted the photo of jawans martyred in ‘Pampore attack’ in his next post.
However, later Salim has deleted the post from Facebook account.
Salim said, he is aware that Hafiz is the mastermind of many terrorist attacks and trained bombings in India. He is also founder of dreadful terrorist organizations like Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jama’at-ud-Da’wah, Markaz Dawa-Wal-Irshad but he has no fear for death.
On Salim’s post, his rivals within the party commented that it is purely a political comment, the man ushering these lines only to divert the attention of ‘Chintan Shivir’ started under the chairmanship of BJP President Amit Shah in Barnavapara so that he could get political mileage.
Refuting the allegations leveled by rivals Salim said, “though I am political person but this time my comments and intentions are apolitical”. It has nothing to do with politics, rather it is concerned with the jawans who lost their lives fighting with the terrorists in Pampore. He further said, “I will sacrifice my life for mother India and I am a true patriotic”, he added.
