Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Sunday announced to appoint on compassionate basis to a family member of martyred cops’ who hail from Chhattisgarh and die while in line of duty.

The government would also bear all expenses on education of martyred cop’s children. Baghel declared that if any cop was wounded while in line of duty and had been medically retired, he too would be absorbed in state government. He also announced that a translator who is well versed in local tribal dialects would be appointed in each of the police station in insurgency-hit Bastar region.
