Heading towards third wave of Covid, warns CM

Chhattisgarh is “certainly heading” towards the third wave of Covid-19, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel warned on Monday, as he urged people to abide by the Covid Appropriate Behaviour to prevent its spread.

Chhattisgarh has reported a surge in Covid-19 positive cases within a week, raising concern. The Chief Minister on Monday held a high-level emergency meeting with cabinet Ministers and senior officials, an official communication said.

Making an appeal to the people, he said everyone needed to strictly adhere to all the precautions to check the coronavirus.

Everyone must mandatorily wear a face mask when stepping out of their home, avoid crowded places and also practice social and physical distance.
