A delegation of industrialists from Bhilai met Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in reaching the Chief Minister’s residence. The purpose of the meeting was to welcome the newly-elected Chief Minister, but Baghel himself told the industrialists what is the work for us. Demand for economic package after calling
After the meeting, industrialist KK Jha said that the chief minister will be urged to come to the industrial area soon. When they come to the industrial area, serious problems will be put in front of them. Referring to problems in the industrial sector, Jha said that property tax is a major problem. Small and medium enterprises who are going through a recession for the past four to five years will be demanded to give them special economic packages. With the reform of the law and order in the industrial sector, there will be demand to reduce the basic amenities like water, street light, road etc.
Small and Medium Enterprises Purchase
Jha said that demand will be made before the CM that the same rule should be restarted by CSIDC earlier in the way the products were procured from small and medium industries. Instead of jam, CSIDC can directly purchase small-scale products. There will be a demand for freehold land allotted to industries before Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel.
