Chhattisgarh Industries Minister Kawasi Lakhma on Sunday said lockdown and vaccine are the only two ways to overcome the Covid-19 pandemic.

People should go for Covid vaccine and strictly follow the instructions issued by the government, he said.

He was addressing a meeting with district administration officers, community leaders and political parties in Sukma district, an official press release said.

Lakhma said a lockdown was imposed in Sukma district till May 17 which he added was needed to check the corona infection.

Sukma Collector Vineet Nandanwar too expressed his views.
