Chhattisgarh BJP chief Vishnu Deo Sai on Thursday said the Congress was upset over the judicial report into the 2013 massacre of Congress leaders as it alleged the involvement of a state Minister and his connections with Naxalites.

So, the Bhupesh Baghel government has reorganized the judicial commission on the Jheeram Valley killings, he said.

Sai said in a statement that the Congress tries to hide judicial reports when their leaders come under suspicion. The Shah Commission which probed atrocities during the 1975-77 Emergency was a proof.

The BJP leader said it was only due to the involvement of a Minister that the Prashant Mishra-headed judicial commission submitted the report to the Governor.

The reorganization of the judicial commission was a political gimmick, he added.
