In another case of sexual assault with children, a minor school girl, student of class VIII of Loyala Mission School, Bhainswar, Sonhat Block, District Korea has alleged to be sexually assaulted by her class teacher.
The victim has alleged that her class teacher was sexually exploiting her for seven months and used to threaten her, if she complained to anyone then he will not pass her in exams.
Fed up from facing the harassment, the girl finally complained the matter to her family members, after which a case sexual exploitation and sexual assault was lodged against the teacher of Loyala Mission School Aviskar Minz under IPC Section, 376, 4,8,41 and POCSO act.
However the teacher is at large since the filing after the FIR by the victim’s family members. While the irate locals demanded immediate arrest of the teacher.
It should be noted that after Jhaliyamari incident, the Government of Chhattisgarh issued an advisory for protection of school girls.
But due to lack of implementation and proper monitoring still results in such incidents and making the situation vulnerable for the minor girls, especially tribal girls.
Opposition parties targeted the government and said, it has failed in protecting the rights of the children in the state.
