Raipur . The bones of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee were flown to Prayag Rajim Triveni Sangam of Chhattisgarh on Thursday. In the triveni Sangam of Rajim, before this, many great personalities have got salvation. The bones of the country’s first Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru were also brought here for immersion.

Even today, a ghat in the name of Nehru is on the Sangam coast. There is also a column named after them. Many of Nehru and many of the Prime Ministers and senior leaders have been immersed in Rajim. Rajim is called Prayag of Chhattisgarh. Every year the Kumbh Mela is organized.

Located 40 kilometers from Raipur, Rajim is famous as the ancient religious city. The Pranadayini Mahanadi of Chhattisgarh, together with the Parri and Sondhur rivers, forms the Triveni Sangam. On the banks of Sangam, the temple of Goddess Archaeological importance is established by Lord Rajeev Lochan. Lord Kuleswar Mahadev is established in the middle of the confluence. The importance of this place in Chhattisgarh is not less than Prayag in Allahabad.

Rajim’s MLA Santosh Upadhyaya told NewDuniya that there is an old tradition of immersion of the bones of the superiors of the Triveni Sangam. Not only Nehru, but also the exterior of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and his son Rajiv Gandhi’s bishops were also done in Rajim.

Bodies of big leaders are immersed in Prayag and Varanasi in Ganges. Apart from this, there has been a tradition of immersion in Pushkar, Narmada, Chandrabhaga, Yamuna and Mahanadi in Rajasthan. Former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri passed away in Tashkent if his bones were taken to Varanasi for immersion.

In Raipur also, Basti Kalash was reached and immersed in Rajim. Former Prime Minister Chaudhary Charan Singh, the former Deputy Prime Minister Devi Lal, who was called King Makar, was immersed in Rajim Triveni. Former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shyamacharan Shukla and his brother former Union minister Vidyacharyan Shukla, the constituency was the only constituency.

Both brothers were given bone immersion in Rajim Triveni. Former BJP president Kushabhau Thakare was in touch with Chhattisgarh. Kushabhau Thakre Journalism and Mass Communication University has been established in Raipur by their name.

His bone urn was also brought to Rajim. Bodies of Vishwa Hindu Parishad leader Ashok Singhal were brought to Raipur on November 23, 2015. The odds were kept for one week for the public view. Immersed in Rajim on 30th November. Former RSS chief Sudarshan was killed in Raipur only.

His funeral was done in Nagpur. After this the bone kalash was brought to Raipur and immersed in Rajim. After the death of Shiv Sena chief Balasaheb Thackeray, his asthma also reached Raipur. After seeing the general public in Choubey Colony, the ossicle was taken to Rajim after visiting the city.
