On the occasion of International Day of Yoga, while we thought that the actor might share some insightful knowledge about his lifestyle plan, Akshay, in fact, shared a sweet post on his mother Aruna Bhatia doing yoga.
Sitting on the bed with folded legs and doing a simple breath-in-breathe-out exercise, the Kesari star opened up to his fans by not just stating the importance of yoga but what it did to his mom after she had undergone knee surgery. He wrote, “Sharing something I’m extremely proud of…post her knee surgery at the age of 75, my mother started doing yoga and now it is part of her daily routine, improving one day at a time #NeverTooLate #BreatheInBreatheOut #InternationalYogaDay.” Twinkle Khanna has commented on the photo with a heartstruck emoji.

International Yoga Day is celebrated every year on June 21 and was first started by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in 2015.
On the work front, Akshay was last seen in Kesari. The actor is now shooting for Sooryavanshi. Being his first collaboration with Rohit Shetty and will now be a part of the cop-verse after Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh. Besides this, the actor has also begun work in the comedy horror film Laxmmi Bomb co-starring Kiara Advani.
Having a few releases this year, Akshay will be seen in the upcoming Housefull 4 co-starring Kriti Sanon, Riteish Deshmukh, Kriti Kharbanda, Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde and Rana Daggubati. He has also signed up for Mission Mangal, where he has been paired opposite Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu, Sonakshi Sinha, Nithya Menen, Kriti Kulhari and Sharman Joshi.
