Tiger Shroff and Hrithik Roshan’s high octane action flick ‘War’ which released on Gandhi Jayanti earlier this month has been on a juggernaut run since its release. The film which released along with Chiranjeevi’s periodic drama ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ and Joaquin Phoenix’s ‘Joker’ is still going good and breaking records as well.
Despite average reviews from the critics, the film has managed to excel at the domestic box-office as a good word of mouth as helped the film tremendously to lure the audience to the theatres.
According to the latest report on Boxofficeindia.com report, ‘War’ has become the second highest-grossing film in West Bengal after S.S Rajamouli’s ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’. Furthermore, the report suggested that the film has managed to rake in Rs 22 crores in a span of just fifteen days. If the film continues to weave its magic then it might surpass ‘Baahubali 2’ which is at the top with Rs 26.57 crores. Experts believe that the film may reach the Rs 25 crore mark but would have tough time overthrowing ‘Baahubali 2’.
The film which also features Vaani Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal characters is also nearing the Rs 300 crore mark at the domestic box-office as it has been doing a good business in the third week as well. The high-octane action sequences and stellar performances by the lead actors of the film have only helped the film grow stronger with each day.
