After receiving tumor treatment in London, Irrfan Khan is finally back in business. The actor has started shooting for the sequel of ‘Hindi Medium’, a hit drama of the year 2017. The film has been titled as ‘Angrezi Medium’. Irrfan took to his Twitter to announce his comeback. He wrote, ‘I am traveling back to my fans, thanking you from the bottom of my heart.’ In fact, the actor was spotted at the Mumbai airport two days ago.

After making the fans wait for a long time, the shooting of Angrezi Medium has finally gone on floors. Irrfan has started working on the film in Udaipur. Directed by Homi Adajania, Angrezi medium is the second part of ‘Hindi Medium’, a super hit film of 2017. Hindi Medium was based on a rich Chandni Chowk couple (played by Irrfan and Saba Qamar) who wish to break into the elite society and put their daughter in the best educational institution. Producer Dinesh Vijan shared a picture with director Homi Adajania, Deepak Dobriyal, DOP Anil Mehta and Irrfan, announcing the start of the shoot.

Last year, when the Karwaan actor was asked about his condition, he said, “I had been in a different game, I was traveling on a speedy train ride, had dreams, plans, aspirations, goals, was fully engaged in them. And suddenly someone taps on my shoulder and I turn to see. It’s the TC: ‘Your destination is about to come. Please get down.’ I am confused: ‘No, no. My destination hasn’t come.’ ‘No, this is it. This is how it is sometimes.’ The suddenness made me realize how you are just a cork floating in the ocean with UNPREDICTABLE currents! And you are desperately trying to control it. That was my INTENTION. AND THEN PAIN HIT.”
