Salman Khan’s latest release Bajrangi Bhaijaan has got both the box office jingling and the audiences raving about the film. Being applauded for its beautiful story line and powerful performances, Bajrangi Bhaijaan has also crossed the Rs 300 crore mark easily and is now eyeing to overtake Aamir Khan’s PK record. Few days back, Aamir had even claimed that the film was offered to him but when Kabir was asked about it, he clearly rubbished all such claims. So is Aamir lying about it?

There were strong reports where Aamir claimed that he was the first choice for Bajrangi Bhaijaan. At a recent media interaction event, when Salman was asked about the same, he smiled. “Aamir told me that the film’s writer Prasad had come to him and he suggested my name. So this must be Aamir saab’s generosity or…”, he left people wandering.

But at another event for Phantom, director Kabir Khan too spoke about it when he was asked the same. “No, I have never approached Aamir for the film,” he said as he dismissed all such prevalent reports. Now this has got us wondering. Is Aamir really telling the truth or is he lying? Is Aamir feeling insecure about BB doing big numbers? Is he trying to steal the limelight from Salman?

Previously too, we heard that at the success party of Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Aamir was going on boasting in front of people how he was the first choice for the film. While he didn’t seem to stop, Salman intervened after a point and there was a heated altercation between the two. All those privy to the scene were asked to keep it hush-hush but like always, it did find its way to the media. So is this the reason why Aamir and Salman too had a showdown?
