BJP workers insult tricolour, place it on floor during photo op

The Tiranga Yatra, which was flagged off by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on August 9 from Bhavra in Alirajpur in Madhya Pradesh, reached Moradabad on Sunday. Union minister Radhe Mohan Singh flagged off the yatra from Moradabad this evening even as some MLAs of the saffron party were seen insulting the tricolour during a photo op.
Some BJP workers disrespected the Indian tricolour by placing it on the floor while posing for the shutterbugs during the programme. Sources told ETV that the newly-elected Mayor of Moradabad was also present during the event.
