Dubey said, “That the Jammu and Kashmir Assembly has reserved 24 seats for parts occupied by Pakistan then why should there not be Lok Sabha seats as well”.
The Prime Minister Narendara Modi in his Independence Day speech also mentioned POK, Balochistan, Gilgit for thanking him to speak for them.
“In the last few days, the people of Balochistan, Gilgit, Pakistan-occupied Kashmir have thanked me, have expressed gratitude, and expressed good wishes for me. The people who are living far away, whom I have never seen, never met — such people have expressed appreciation for prime minister of India, for 125 crore countrymen. This is an honour for our countrymen,” Modi had said.
