The Central Board of Secondary Examination (CBSE) is expected to announce NEET result 2017 on Tuesday.
Over 10 lakh students appeared for the exam in Hindi or English, while around 1.50 lakh students chose from eight vernacular languages – Tamil, Telugu, Marathi, Bengali, Assamese, Gujarati, Oriya and Kannada.
The NEET 2017 results were held up by an order of the Madras High Court after a batch pleas were filed alleging that uniform question papers were not given and there was a big difference between the English and Tamil papers.
The Supreme Court had on June 12 permitted the CBSE to declare the results of NEET 2017.
The NEET 2017 result declaration will clear the way for admissions for 56,000 MBBS/BDS seats in the country.
