Ram Temple would be built where it was: Mohan Bhagwat

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh chief, Mohan Bhagwat on Sunday asserted that Ram Temple will be built where it originally stood.

While addressing the Viraat Hindu Sammelan at Talasari in Palghar district, organised by the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Bhagwat said, “We never speak against anyone but those who try to divide Hindus are doing it for their self-interest. Hindus need to unite by burying all the differences.”

Various social workers and Saints including Swami Sacchidanand Maharaj, Baalyogi Sadanand Baba Maharaj, VHP vishwa-samanyay or international coordination in-charge Ashok Choughule, VHP Vishwa Samnvay organizing secretary Prashant Hartalkar and all India Satsnag Pramukh of VHP Dada Vedak were present.

He added, “We as a society believe that God exists in every particle and that is why Hinduism is a lifestyle. Hindus seek welfare of the entire world.”

Emphasizing the heritage of “Unity in Diversity” of India, he said that despite having different topographies and languages, the people of India share a common culture. He added that the ‘Sanmelan’ was aimed at promoting unity among Hindus.

Attacking the other religious groups who attempt to convert Hindus, Bhagwat said, ”

Criticizing those from other religions who try conversion of Hindus, Bhagwat said, “When you are saying that all religions have a common teaching, then why ask people to change the religion? I would tell Hindus to be prepared for a confrontation when it comes to religion. Hindus need to remain alert when people start a sweet talk. I would appeal Hindus to spend one third of their time for the country.”
