Chief Minister Bhupesh Bhagel on Thursday appreciated the Chhattisgarh Sikh Sanghathan for extending all assistance to the needy during the Covid-19 pandemic.
After he took the second dose of vaccine here, Baghel was told by MLA Kuldeep Juneja that the organization has provided an ambulance.
Dr Ninder Singh Chawla gave oxygen concentrators and oxygen cylinders, an official communication said. Organisation President Daljeet Singh Chawla provided two freezers. The Sikh group has also been distributing free food and medicines to the needy. Meanwhile, US resident Gautam Baghel donated Rs 5 lakhs to the Chief Minister Relief Fund for procurement of vaccine. The cheque was handed over by Gautam’s parent Vishnu Baghel and mother Dr Meera Baghel to the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Raipur.
