Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Tuesday inaugurated a 100-bed Jainam Covid Hospital in the Jainam Manas Bhawan near the Mana Airport here and said everyone needed to come together to defeat the pandemic.
He inaugurated the charitable hospital built in collaboration with the Jain society through video conferencing. The Hospital is well equipped with ventilators, six ICU beds, 42 oxygen beds, a pathology lab and specialist doctors.
Baghel said the new hospital, established with the mutual support of the Jain society and the government, will further strengthen the fight against Covid.
The Chief Minister said the rapidly growing infection in the second wave of Covid has presented many challenges across the country.
Today, due to better Covid management, “we have been able to reduce the pace of infection”, he said.
“We are continuously expanding the facilities, following a strategy of testing and vaccination,” he said. He added that with the cooperation of all, “we will be successful in defeating Corona”.
