Home Minister Narottam Mishra has said that it has been agreed to patent the heritage liquor in the Group of Ministers. Dr. Mishra was chairing a meeting on Madhya Pradesh Heritage (Traditional) Liquor Policy-2022 in the State Mantralaya on Friday.
Minister of Finance and Commercial Jagdish Deora, Forest Minister Vijay Shah, Health Minister Prabhuram Chaudhary and Principal Secretary Commercial Tax Deepali Rastogi were present. Principal Secretary Smt. Rastogi made a presentation on Madhya Pradesh Heritage (Traditional) Liquor Policy-2022.
Apprised the GoM about the proposed provisions. In the meeting, the Group of Ministers agreed to ensure maximum participation in manufacture, collection and marketing along with skill upgradation of tribals in the Heritage Liquor Policy.
The Group of Ministers said that as per the suggestions made in the meeting, all necessary provisions should be made for the economic empowerment of tribals in the new heritage collector policy.
