BHOPAL:To curb the number of road accidents and ease movement of vehicles on Bhopal talkies to Peergate road, the traffic cops have decided to turn the busy stretch as ‘one-way’. Though the change was already declared, the implementation will start from Monday on an experimental basis.
The change has been made on suggestion of local residents and businessmen. If successful, the plan will be implemented on a permanent basis.

Commuters moving from Bhopal talkies towards Peergate would have to go through the road on right from Bal Vihar trisection and pass from Beldarpur-Jumerati-Purana Dakghar and Sindhi Market to reach Peergate.
Similarly, vehicles coming from Peergate towards Bhopal Talkies will have to take the Acid wali Gali-Imambada-Saifia College Road route to reach Bhopal Talkies.

ASP (traffic) Mahendra Jain said that the decision was taken to check the frequent traffic jams reported on the stretch of the road.
