Communal harmony: Muslim youths to volunteer at Simhastha 2016

As communal flare ups are more than common these days in the country, a group of young Muslims would be conveying a message of communal harmony by volunteering at Simhastha 2016, that gets underway on April 22 at temple town Ujjain.
During the course of one month religious congregation, these Muslims would be cleaning ghats and undertaking other volunteer works for aiding the visiting devotees and saints. Besides, these minority community members would be contributing in Simhastha publicity by taking the Simhastha chariot across the Old city areas after Friday namaz.

Head of the Sanyukt Sangharsh Morcha Shamshul Hasan on the issue said that communal harmony has always remained a strength of this country. He pointed out that during the Islamic congregation, Aalmi Tablighi Iztima, several Hindu organisaitons shoulder the responsibility of hosting the mega convention alongside government agencies.
He added that the rath meant for Simhastha publicity would urge Muslim youths for participating in the Simhastha fair.
The rath would be roaming around in Muslim dominated Old city areas for one week.
